North Side Mansions

I can%26#39;t seem to find any info on this. Does anyone have any info on early 20th century mansions on the North Side. I%26#39;m looking mostly for cross-street names.

Thanks

Tom

North Side Mansions

Hello,

Not exactly sure which part of the North Side you are referring to. Here are two links to info on Allegheny West, which still has many beautiful old homes and would include Beech Street, Western Avenue, Galveston...you should be able to access a map from both sites.

Many of the old mansions are gone, but some remain (including Dan Rooney%26#39;s!) and would date from the early 20th century.

The Mexican War Streets, obviously, would be a little older and the houses less elaborate but many have been restored and are lovely.

Finally, Deutschtown is more of a working class area and is slowly gentrufying but has some lovely older homes.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know.

North Side Mansions

Try Pennsylvania Ave in Manchester (North Side)

and Beech Ave in North Side.

Also Lincoln Ave and Ridge for more big houses.

And Brighton Rd along West Park.

I don%26#39;t have any details, this is coming from a friend who is also into big houses.

Thanks for your help.

Tom
