Hi, wanting to book a hotel in Lancaster for a couple of nights next week. Would be grateful for advice as so many to choose from!! Preferably one i walking distance to restaurants or with a restauant on site. Thanks.

Best Western Revere inn. Nice breakfast comes with the room, and there is a nice restaurant Pub/Steakhouse on premises. Rooms are extra nice, and extra modern and clean. Just be sure to ask for main building.

The Lancaster Arts Hotel in downtown Lancaster is very nice and new. On site is the John J Jeffries restaurant featuring organic and locally grown foods. Portions are small and prices are high, but the food and service are excellent. Within a block is Checker%26#39;s Bistro (my favorite restaurant in Lanc), the Pemberley Tea Shoppe (for a light lunch) and opening this month, Fenz, an %26#39;upscale casual%26#39; restaurant. There are also numerous pizza shops in the area. The baseball stadium is across the street too so if there are fireworks, you%26#39;ll get a prime view.
