I am planning to visit Lancaster for several days in August. In researching the reviews of the Days Inn I see that one is located in Ronks, Pa and one in Lancaster, Pa. I contacted the Days Inn in Ronks and spoke to the clerk at the desk concerning the poor reviews of their establishment. She stated that they are continually confused with the Days Inn in Lancaster, which has had numerous problems. She assures me that they have had no complaints from patrons and that they are completely full for the next 2 weeks. Can anyone confirm these statements.
Days Inn , Ronks, Pa
jcjii, the Keller Ave Days Inn is located in Lancaster City. YES, it has been rated one of the worst motels in the USA. We stayed at the Days Inn in Ronks on Rt 896 at Rt 30 during late spring. It is old, has no elevator, worn carpets, cheap continental breakfast (no milk when we tried to eat). A low class two-star chain motel. I would try elswhere. Most of the forum members would recommend Best Western%26#39;s Eden Resort or The Revere Tavern. I like the lodging at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse.

The Days Inn in Ronks (on 896 near the Rockvale Outlets) is okay but the one in downtown Lancaster (Keller Avenue) is absolutely horrible. You might want to check out the Sleep Inn in Ronks or the BW Revere in Paradise. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Having stayed at the Days Inn, Ronks, I think you can probably do better for close to the same $$s. I would recommend the Country Living Inn of 2406 Old Philadelphia Pike (rt. 340 east of Lancaster). It is no more than 2 miles from the Days Inn, Ronks. It is locally owned and in a quieter area. Always gets strong reviews from those staying there. See their website: www.countrylivinginn.com
****My 15 y/o Grandson and I stayed there last year. To be perfectly honest, I%26#39;ve always stayed there as I frequently go to Lancaster. Never again. I can put up with many things but I will not stand for rudeness. This not only happened to me but to several customers by 2 front desk employees. I called and E-mailed their corporate office. They sent me a letter stating I would have to contact the offending hotel and complain. ';YEAH RIGHT';!!!! Contact me for hotel/motel recommendations. Hopefully, this E-mail reached you in time. ';HAVE A GREAT TRIP';!!!!
