Help--a friend needs to stay for a week in Sept. while attending a 5-day course at a hotel right at the Philadelphia airport. Hotel employee said from Super 8, take 168 to 76 to airport area (Embassy Suites); how long would it take Mon-Fri mornings if she needed to be there by 7:45 a.m. to get to Embassy Suites at Phil. Airport?
Is this area, Bellmawr NJ, ';safe'; at night, etc.
Thank you for your help.

Why is she staying at the Super 8 in Bellmawr when the seminar is in Philly? While the town of Bellmawr is not unsafe, the hotel is not in an area that I would want to walk around at night alone. It is an older area with fast food places and busy roads nearby, not much else.
Your friend will need to cross the Walt Whitman Bridge to get to the Embassy Suites by the airport. The Walt Whitman Bridge is a main commuter bridge and generally experiences heavy traffic in the mornings but if she leaves early enough she may be able to avoid the heaviest traffic. If I were your friend I would forego the rental car and stay at the Embassy Suites, the site of the conference. She will save the money from the rental car and can apply it to the room. She could easily take a cab to South Philly restaurants from the Embassy Suites.
Just a thought. Moms

There are also at least 4-5 other hotels at the airport (the Sheraton Four points is usually fairly reasonable) that you can walk to the Embassy from. Only issue is eating choices might be a bit limited.
If budget is an issue (and it may be) you might want to consider something a little south on I-95, but like others have said, I would forgo the car.
