really looking forward to the start of september and counting down the days i still have to work. We are staying in the historic part of town and as we dont have all that much time can anyone suggest a bit of an itinerary for us. We will be bringing my 18 month old son. Suggestions for child friendly eating places would also be gratefully received. DT
2 and a bit days in philly
I%26#39;m not the best with saying itinerary so maybe wait for others, but I%26#39;d say a decent place to start is the Independence Visitor%26#39;s Center and you can actually get info on a lot of stuff there. Are you more interested in history or museums or a little of both? Mainstream history stuff or more obscure?
Restaurants with kids? Maybe Buco di Beppo? They seem pretty laid back in there, standard Italian, family size portions (or not), and fairly loud.
2 and a bit days in philly
When my wife and I visited last year, we were able to see pretty much everything we wanted to see in a day. Of course, I%26#39;m assuming things would progress more slowly with an 18 month year old. :)
I put together this concise list of to-do%26#39;s when I was planning our trip: http://piytravel.com/pages/s.piy?t=uspaph
It might help you plan your stay. As for kid-specific places to eat, I%26#39;m not going to be any help. Sorry. Hopefully, a local will chime in.
Enjoy your trip!
What type of food do you like?
