I%26#39;m flying into Pittsburgh on a Sunday afternoon. What%26#39;s the cheapest/easiest way to get to the south side Holiday Inn Express? Renting a car is NOT an option.
transportation from pittsburgh air to South Side Holiday InnIs the 10th street bridge pedestrian friendly?
transportation from pittsburgh air to South Side Holiday Inn10th street bridge question, yes it is ped. friendly.
I believe there is a bus that takes you from the airport to downtown, however, I don%26#39;t know much more than that, we usually either rent a car or take a taxi.
Here%26#39;s the Port Authority Transit website:

You might try using the Trip Planner function for bus connections from Pittsburgh International Airport to the Southside. You will be able to tell from this link whether or not bus service will be available for your Sunday trip.
The 28X Flyer takes you from outside the terminus to Downtown and only costs $2.50 e/way..you can get a transfer for another 50c ..though I belive you can ride free in a triangle of the Downtown area..
Best check though as the talk was they are making cut backs..though I personally cannot see them cutting the popular 28X
A site that I think is easier to navigate than the Port Authority%26#39;s for planning travel is Google Transit, found at http://www.google.com/transit
