2 days and a bit in philly

really looking forward to the start of september and counting down the days i still have to work. We are staying in the historic part of town and as we dont have all that much time can anyone suggest a bit of an itinerary for us. We will be bringing my 18 month old son. Suggestions for child friendly eating places would also be gratefully received. DT

2 days and a bit in philly

How much time is not that much time?

Generally, Philadelphia is a family-friendly town. Some restaurants in or near Old City that are particularly welcoming of children are:

Philadelphia Fish %26amp; Co. - 200 block of Chestnut

Konak (Turkish) - 200 block of Vine

Core di Roma (Italian) - 200 blcok of South St.

Bistro Romano (Italian) - 100 block of Lombard

Ariana (Afghan) - 100 blcok of Chestnut

Reading Terminal Market - not one restaurant, but 80+ vendors in what was originally a farmers%26#39; market. Many of the vendors sell prepared foods. See readingterminalmarket.org for more info.

Also, numerous restaurants in Chinatown. Let us know if you want specifics.
