hi going to the drag races next week-wondering if there are any good places to eat ? new or old. we were so disapointed to see that zinn%26#39;s dinner was no longer-and we love stoudt%26#39;s brewpub/rest. if that helps. also is anything special going on next week in that area?

Zinn%26#39;s Diner is still though, though renamed. Unfortunately the park behind with the mini golf and whatnot is long gone. Up farther on 272 is Silk City Diner, behind that is a steakhouse. I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s tasty, but quite expensive. Shady Maple Buffet is down off of Route 23, which is a little bit of a hike, but it%26#39;s known all over the tri county area for it%26#39;s massive selection.

Alot of it depends on where you stay for the races. Are you staying more towards the Lancaster end or closer into Shillington and getting to Maple Grove using 625? If I knew how familiar you were with the surrounding area, I might be of more help. lol

My favorite place to eat at in Adamstown is Boehringers. It%26#39;s located on 272. It is a locally owned drive-in. They make their own ice cream and have the best bar-b-ques, milkshakes, fries, steaks and burgers.

For pizza, I recommend Procopio%26#39;s. It doesn%26#39;t look like much from the outside, but the food is good. It%26#39;s a little white building across the street from Renninger%26#39;s antique market on 272.

Closer to the turnpike on 272 is Zia Maria%26#39;s if you are looking for good Italian food.

For a nice dinner out there is The Station at Reinholds Inn. It is on rt. 897 in Reinholds right at the train tracks. Reservations are a good idea, especially on a Saturday. 717-336-0104 During the summer, they also have outdoor seating.

For breakfast, stop at Dave%26#39;s diner in Adamstown on 272 at the light.

I just heard about the golf park re-opening this afternoon actually! I%26#39;m really glad, good times definitely.

There%26#39;s another diner in the area of 272, relatively new, behind the Weaver%26#39;s Market. I haven%26#39;t tried it myself, but friends swear by it.
