Which is better - the No 9 Mine %26amp; Museum in Lansford or the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour in Scranton?
No. 9 Mine %26amp; Museum or the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour?
I%26#39;m not familiar with No. 9, but I can tell you the Lackawanna tour is great! The guides do a good job explaining the history and fundamentals of the mining industry. The tour is about an hour. If you are going to be in the area and like trains, Steamtown is also a neat place to see. It%26#39;s very close by. It%26#39;s operated by nps.
Hopefully someone is familiar with No. 9 so he/she can chime in also.

How does the Lackawanna tour compare with the one down in Ashland? Has anybody out there been to that one?
