Leaving Pittsburgh this Thursday, traveling to Atlantic City till Saturday morning, then taking my daughter to college near Villanova.
It should take us about 5 hours to get to Philly and another 1.5 hours to Atlantic City.
Suggestions on routes to take. We%26#39;ll be traveling on the turnpike - then what%26#39;s the best way to get to the AC Expressway.
Also, returning on Saturday early morning - what%26#39;s the best way to head towards Villanova.
Thanks!
Pittsburgh to Atlantic City to Philly driving suggestions??
Simply take 76E to 676 to the Ben Franklin Bridge. When you cross over the bridge, you will be on 42 which will turn into ACE. ACE will bring you right into AC.
Follow these directions back to Nova. Stay on 76W until 476W ( milemarker 331). Take 476 to St.Davids/ Villanova exit and make right onto Lancaster Ave. Lancaster Ave will take you right to the campus.
Pittsburgh to Atlantic City to Philly driving suggestions??
Correction on Villanova directions. When heading South on 476 from 76 you make a left at the bottom of the ramp onto Lancaster Avenue Rt 30. This will take you to Villanova%26#39;s campus.
With all due respect, kindly disregard the last post. You must bare right at the exit ramp and head 30E. If you go left, you will be in Radnor/ St. Davids on 30W.
Heather is correct, I live in this general vicinity and you must bear right off the ramp.

Bear in mind that coming back into Pennsylvania, the Walt Whitman is a toll bridge. As is the AC Expressway, both ways. So have some spare cash on you to pay the tolls.
The AC Expressway is hard to miss. The bridge will take you right onto 42 which takes you directly to the ACE. Just make sure to stay to your left, because 42 splits off in the other direction.
To get to AC, I would stay on 76 after the Turnpike ends and continue over the Walt Whitman bridge to the AC Expressway. It%26#39;s the most direct route. The Ben takes you out of your way.
You would think driving this route to Villanova so often I would have gotten this correct. But you do make a right not a left sorry for the confusion.
Hey, no big deal, Kimba - I can barely give directions out of my own backyard most days - I know how to get there, but ask me N, S, E, or W and the names of the streets and I can be completely hopeless!
