Attractions and Hotels

I am considering spending this weekend in the New Hope, Pa area. Can someone recommend the best attractions and hotels or Bed and Breakfasts available.

Thanks.

Attractions and Hotels

There%26#39;s a great shopping center a few miles away called Peddlars%26#39; Village. It%26#39;s located in Lahaska, PA. Plenty of stores, restaurants (we like Coch %26#39;N Bull) motels and B%26amp;B%26#39;s. We%26#39;ve never stayed overnight, but I%26#39;ve heard all good reviews on the lodging choices. Take a look at both towns websites.

Attractions and Hotels

We enjoyed a stay 2 years ago at Porches on the Towpath in New Hope. The big ';attraction'; in New Hope, IMO, is New Hope itself. It%26#39;s a quaint town with lots of shops and boutiques. Don%26#39;t forget to cross the bridge into Lambertville for more restaurants, and antiquing. Take a stroll along the canal path. You can rent bikes on the NJ side and ride the trail that follows the river. Take a drive a little north of New Hope to Sand Castle Winery.

steve missed the point of new hope, peddlers village has yuppie stores like any other mall does. why go to new hope and go to mall stores steve? new hope has family owned stores thats why people go there, to see something different.

I agree with Sirikwan. Why waste your time in Peddler%26#39;s Village. It is nothing more than a tourist trap even though it is a very pretty outdoor mall. You are better off walking around the town of New Hope and shopping in all their great one of a kind shops and boutiques. You can always go to Peddler%26#39;s Village on the side.

As for places to stay, I highly recommend the Lexington House or Porches. New Hope also has many fine restaurants in all price ranges.

Last Monday I ate at the Lambertville Station across the walking bridge that connects new hope to New Jersey. I guess it%26#39;s a converted train station, or modeled after one. Anyway the food was spectacular and the service was great. Overall the best dining experience I%26#39;ve ever had. Can%26#39;t wait to go back.
