Which lots are most economical? Is a person better off parking at one of the automobile dealers a few miles away? Or perhaps at one of the airport hotels? We%26#39;ll be flying to England for 18 days and I%26#39;d like not to have to worry about the safety of the car. Would also, of course, like to find most cost-effective way to do this. Thank you in advance.
best place to park when leaving from Phila airport?I%26#39;ve had very good experiences with Ampco parking. Take the Island Ave exit off 295 S and follow around past the UPS depot, its on the right after the curve.
Have not parked there recently, but last I did it was $10 per night outdoor, $11 per night indoor parking. Shuttle vans pick you up at car within 15 mins and take you right to terminal.
For 18 days, I%26#39;d call first and see if A%26gt; you need to register for such a long stay, and B%26gt; if there%26#39;s a long stay discount. I%26#39;d also consider Indoor for such a long stay for the extra $18.
Pretty sure their # is: (215) 937-1956
One note, neighbor used them and said it took a little longer than usual to get a van at Terminal F, driver said was simply due to huge volume, witht he airport so busy they are running full out.
best place to park when leaving from Phila airport? Thanks very much for your reply. I will check it out.
When flying out of PHL I have used long term parking a couple of times and a hotel stay with parking several times. If I%26#39;m just using the parking, I usually go this website: http://www.airportparkingreservations.com/. There are numerous different lots to choose from including one that brings your car back to the airport for you when you get back in. Works great, it%26#39;s one of the ones I tried.
The other site I use for hotel stay with parking is: http://www.sleepparkfly.com/. Several of the hotels will quote you a 14 day rate and charge an additional $5 or more per day for the extra days. I%26#39;ve used the Ramanda and the Days Inn. Ramada was fine and the Days Inn is OK - a little worn and they always seem to not bother to charge me for more than 14 days. Also, most hotels will give you the option of staying on the outbound or inbound day.
Much thanks to responders! Am pursuing...
I have used Ramada Inn and was quite satisfied. Their daily rate is $8.95 plus tax, if you go to their website there is a coupon for $7.95 per day plus tax.

Have also used the Ramada lot. It seems to be the cheapest in the area, and is well-fenced and gated. Shuttle runs quite regularly, and service is also cordial, prompt. I do not recommend the hotel for overnite stays, but the lot is located in Essington, south of the airport just off of I-95. In coming from the south, one is able to avoid driving in the area of the airport. Have used this location successfully day and nite, and never found the lot to be closed because it is full.
Another ote for Ramada. I%26#39;ve tried others but have always come back to Ramada.
