Country Buffet

Anyone ever eat there? How is the food? What are the prices for adult and children? Thanks for your help!

Country Buffet

Old Country Buffet is a chain buffet headquartered in Minnesota. The Reading one is fine. I do overnights in Reading several nights a month on business and have eaten at that one about 6 times in the last 2 years. (I also occasionally eat at other ones closer to Harrisburg.) Their prices are under $10 for adults and kids are about half of that. They have a variety of items, including a carving station. There are always different chicken and fish dishes. All drinks are included and a great selection of desserts including ice cream. They usually have pizza, macaroni and cheese, and corn dogs that appease the kids if they are picky. Very family friendly and I%26#39;ve never seen a child there that is not happy with the selections. As far as adults, there is something for just about everyone including a great salad and fresh fruit bar. It%26#39;s a very good value for the money. Here is their website incase you want to take a peek: http://www.oldcountrybuffet.com.

Thanks for your input!!

The above poster covered it all. Though personally I%26#39;m really not a fan of it. I prefer Shady Maple. Which is a good 30 miles away, closer to Lancaster, but it%26#39;s a much better buffet IMO. Though it will cost you almost double than what Old Country will. I guess it just depends on how picky a foodie you are lol

Thanks for your reply. We love Shady Maple but since we will be driving 4+ hours I wanted to stay local. The kids enjoy Golden Coral so if its anything like that it should be okay. The price sounds real reasonable!! Hopefully we will enjoy it!
