Continental or Seafood Restaurant near Penns Landing

Will be in Philadelphia 8/19/-8/21 and want to go to Moshulu for drinks, but not have dinner there. Can you suggest some nearby alternatives for dinner that are not quite so expensive as Moshulu? It wil be myself and my mother, so not looking for kid friendly. Thanks

Don%26#39;t know about not so expensive, but there is the Charthouse on Penn%26#39;s Landing.

Striped Bass is not what it used to be, but still very good

Buddakan has a nice seafood menu if you want something a little different.

Old City Seafood at 3rd and Market is a decent bet, with the disclaimer that I have eaten there 4 times. 3 times very good, one time very bad and poor service... So its a qualified recommendation.... Reasonably priced tho.

There%26#39;s Philadelphia Fish %26amp; Co. on the 200 block of Chestnut.

Little Fish is also a great place ~ however, it is not as close as Philadelphia Fish %26amp; Co.

When is the last time you were at Old City Seafood? I know that area well and I can%26#39;t picture the restaurant. Are you sure it%26#39;s still there?

Sadly it looks like you are right, it had been quite a while, and apparently the number has been disconnected. I googled it and its still listed, but should have called the number and checked.
