Holiday INN Stadium for Wachovia

From the research I have done I am guessing this hotel is within walking distance from the Wachovia for 2 brits visiting Philly for the 1st time, am I right? Is the area safe as I will have my teenage son with me.

I dont really want to be messing with subways or getting into the city. I will have a car as I am flying into NYC and the hotel provides free parking.

The hotel is going to be mainly for sleeping as I dont mindusing public transport to sightsee during the day

thanks

If you stay there, you will be using the subway every day to get into town. The bus takes too long.

It is walking distance from Wachovia, but if you are coming into the city to sightsee I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it. There%26#39;s not much to eat around there and although not unsafe I wouldn%26#39;t call it attractive. Note that the Wachovia is a good 15-20 minutes subway ride into the city each way.

You should be able to find something in the city at a reasonable rate even with parking fees. Or if you don%26#39;t want to mess with the car, take the train from NYC to Philly (unless you have plans outside the city, you won%26#39;t need a car).
