Looking for a romantic place in the PA area to spend a romantic 10th yr anniversary weekend. Any suggestions?
Romantic Anniversary weekend
i know that you are looking to visit PA and there are lots of choices - i like to pick an area and look into b%26amp;b%26#39;s.
one that my wife and I have stayed at is in Cook%26#39;s Forest, PA
(Gateway Lodge). you are close to attractions in Cook%26#39;s Forest, such as canoeing and horseback riding.
there are also cabins for rent in the park.
i understand the poconos is a nice area also, but have never been there.
not sure where you are from in ny, though, but we just returned from 3 days in the finger lakes region (watkins glen, seneca lake)
LOTS of b%26amp;b%26#39;s and wineries. check though - not sure what the hours of operation might be after labor day.
we sailed out of watkins glen on malabar X and walked the gorge in the state park (beautiful)
also in the area is corning museum of glass (other visitors we talked to said it was well worth it, but we ran out of time)
i would recommend the b%26amp;b we stayed at if you are interested.
Romantic Anniversary weekendIn Western PA., my choice would have to be Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. The best of everything! Prices can be affordable if you go mid week . They have specials too. www.nemacolin.com
