If the Jennie Wade house is the midnight tour with the supposed ';pshyic';. SKIP IT!!! I do not know anyone who said they enjoyed this tour (that includes this site). Ghostly Images is one of the newer tour companies that have been operating and maybe that is the reason they seem to need the practice. I do have to say that some of their stories told during their tour were new to me. If you go on enough ghost tours (any tour company) you hear the same stories over and over again.

I was on a Baltimore St. tour on a Thursday night in October that wasn%26#39;t too crowded with tour goers and the traffic was lessen. But Baltimore is one of the main streets in the business district. It can become loaded with lots of car traffic and teenagers screaming out insults as they drive by. The tour guides appear to be immuned and only speak louder. Along with the Ghosts of Gettysburg, the Farnsworth Walking tour hits a busy section of the business district also. You maybe saved all this on a Tue/Wed.

Sorry to add to your choices BUT .......

There is a smaller tour company closer to the battlefield on Steinwehr, Civil War Ghost Walks??? (not sure of the name). A little less traffic and they let you use their ghost detecting devices. Fun for the first timer !!

Thanks..Ill look into that one...I think the jennie wade house is not the midnight one..I think thats on weekends..This one is just going into the house, I think around 7PM

The Mourning Theater at Farnsworth House is excellent. They tell you scary stories about the house in the old basement. Our storyteller was Dave and he was wonderful at telling the tales. We did both the regular tour and the %26#39;Mature Tour%26#39; where they tell some of the darker tales and take you out onto the battlefield next to the highschool at around midnight at the end. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them.

We also took the Baltimore St. Ghosts of Gettysburg tour and were highly disappointed. Our story teller was not very good and we were taken from parking lot to parking lot as part of the tour. Not exactly what we were expecting.

I looked into the civil war ghost tours, they only run thur to sat....But thanks anyway

My friends and I come from out of state to visit Gettysburg a few times a year, and have tried almost all of the tours. The one that we have settled on as the best is operated in conjunction with the Farnsworth House. If you%26#39;re interested, look for the porch front next door with a highly realistic faux dog sitting out front, and SPECIFICALLY ask for DAVE if he is available - big guy with grey beard - BEST guide anywhere in the area, in my opinion. In addition to walking tours and basement tours of Farnsworth house, they offer (I believe it is uniquely done by Dave, too) - a late-night presentation in the ';grove'; area, sitting right out in the grove for stories.

We just got back from a first time trip from Gettysburg, we did the Ghosts of Gettysburg Seminary Ridge tour. Larry was our guide and he was really good, we all enjoyed it and even had a couple of creepy things happen on our tour.

That tour is not available when we go :(

My family has done all three tours. It really depends on who your guide is going to be.

If you do the Farnswarth Inn,get the one that takes you back by the school. You are almost on a part of the battlefied and the guides were good. We got some really good pictures.

The Ghosts of Gettysburg are good. If the Baltimore street is the one that goes to the college, be prepared for a good night of walking. The year we did this tour, our guide was excellent.

Many of the tours repeat the same stories so if you do more than one, ask ahead to see if there will be any repatition.
