Airport shuttle to NE Philadelphia

Hi

Can anyone recommend an airport shuttle co from the airport to the Northeast/Foxchase area.

I was just there and did use Dave%26#39;s Limo, but waited 45 mins for them to pick me up while I watched others get picked up quickly from other shuttles. They also pick you up 3- 3 1/2 hrs prior to flights.

Anyone have other suggestions or is this typical?

I%26#39;ve always used Dave%26#39;s Limo service from the Northeast when I%26#39;m traveling by myself. If I%26#39;m traveling with another person I take a cab. I fly infrequently (1 or 2 times a year) so I%26#39;m more concerned with missing my flight than minimizing wait time.

Taking the regional rail line from the airport to fox chase would take 1 hour (1.5 hours if you miss the 10 minute window to connect trains)

The R1 and R8 will get you there.

Can%26#39;t help you with other shuttles though.

We%26#39;ve been using service from 1-800-book-a-limo (www.bookalimo.com) for years. They don%26#39;t provide the cars themselves (they are a book agency that works with local suppliers), and are a wee bit more expensive, but every car ever sent by them except one was on time, spotlessly clean, and in the case of the one car, they credited back part of the cost because the limo we used had a leak in the back (even though again, it was not %26#39;their car%26#39;.

Sedan service (1-3 peeps) is $69-$84 each way plus tax and tips. You get better rates after the first time you use them if you sign up for an account - free.

One of the nice things with them tho is that I can book cars at both PHL and destination.
