I will be in Philly for one day in September. I was planning on going to the Italian Market in the morning, then the Historical sites (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Constitution...) in the afternoon. My question is how long does it typically take to get through the liberty bell line? When would be the best time of day to go??

Based on other visitor%26#39;s comments, the best time to go is when it first opens. But, in September, the crowds have really thinned out, so it may not matter.

Definately AM, especially on weekends. Unless you hit a school group you can usually speed through. Indy hall is still doing timed tickets I think, so pick them up early as well.
