I am staying at the Eden and they have no rooms for 1 extra night Im exploring my options and want something with fairly modern rooms like the 2 room suite we booked at the eden, can anyone help?? THANKS!!! Just looking for a nice hotel for 1 nite in or around lancaster.
Need nice newer modern hotel for one night please help!
Willow Valley has just done some renovations on their rooms. It is about 10 minutes from Dutch Wonderland. Great resort type atmosphere with a few different pools and water playground for the kids.

Amish View Inn of Bird-in-Hand receives high recommendation from guests. Its rooms look out on Amish farmland. It would be a nice contrast to the busier, more suburban atmosphere of the Eden. See www.amishviewinn.com for more details.
The Inn at Kitchen Kettle in the Village of Intercourse has lots of rooms to chose from. Take a look www.kitchenkettle.com%26#39;s lodging links. We%26#39;ve stayed in their suite and in the two bedroom rooms. Very clean and well decorated, plus you get a free continental breakfast at the Kling House restaurant. Delicious!!!!

One more to add to the mix--Country Inn and Suites of Lancaster. This is a chain hotel located along busy route 30 east of Lancaster. It is within walking distance of Dutch Wonderland. Outlets are also close. See www.countryinn.com
How modern do you want to go?

The Arts Suite is a two room suite. Their suites feature artwork by local artists on the walls. About a year old, it%26#39;s in a renovated warehouse and very modern. In downtown Lancaster, within walking distance to most downtown attractions. Rather expensive though.
Best Western Revere inn and suites, you won%26#39;t regret it.
I haven%26#39;t been to Lancaster for quite a few years, but we used to go every year and stayed at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews on TA but glad that some were very good. The reason I%26#39;m suggesting you look into it is because when I used to research for a hotel, the Eden was one of the ones I was comparing the Host to and I chose the Host at that time. Maybe it%26#39;s changed now, but I have nothing but great memories of the Host. When I was there, I noticed that there was quite a variety of room decors. Maybe I was lucky to get great rooms each time--it%26#39;s a huge place. It%26#39;s right across from Dutch Wonderland on Rt. 30.
In response to previous poster, the Host (not Quality Inn) is not the showcase it was at one time. It has changed hands numerous times and has had a very uneven record of satisfaction by guests. It would be among my last recommendations in this area.
Oops, typo in my previously sent message. It should have read:
(NOW Quality Inn)!!
Yikes--it%26#39;s now a Quality? Wow...I have not had good experiences with the Quality chain. That explains the mixed reviews. Thanks for the heads up.
