My husband and son will be attending a concert at the Post Gazette Pavillion. Are there any hotels close by that are decent. I don%26#39;t want them to have to go to West Virginia as that would be in the opposite direction from home. I would appreciate any help that you can give me!

Your best bet would be a hotel by the airport. You can run 22West right to Rte 18 (Burgettstown exit) which is where PG Pavillion is.
This is my stomping grounds, and it%26#39;s very rural.
BUT, the hotels in Weirton are only 6 or 7 miles from PG Pavillion as well, off of Three Springs Drive exit.

You stated you didn%26#39;t want to go to WV but that would probably be your best bet. Weirton, WV is barely 10 minutes away and as a Bonus, if they check in prior to the concert, they will be going AGAINST the traffic coming from PA for the concert. If you%26#39;ve never been, traffic can get backed up for miles for the off-ramp.
There are two hotels right off 70. Safe area. You might even find the rates to be better then PA.
Just a quick clarification. The last poster mentioned hotels ';right off 70';. Unless there is a local Route 70 that I am unaware of, I think that you meant Route 22, not 70.
Staying in Weirton, WV really is the best bet because it is so close. Your second option would be to head east on Route 22 about 25 minutes to The Robinson/North Fayette area. There is a Marriott off Route 60W, as well as a Comfort Suites, and a Sleep Inn. you can get to all of them from the Montour Run Exit of Route 60.
