I need ideas/suggestions for shopping with a group of 16 year old girls...something fun, funky, eclectic, etc
sweet sixteen shopping tripWhat about going to one of those make your own purse or jewelry shops? There are a couple of bead shops and purse making shops in Old City.
sweet sixteen shopping tripThere is More than Just Ice Cream for desert after running around. A few years ago I would have said South Street with all the vintage shops and stuff. Now I am not so sure.
New Hope.
Heather: Where is the purse making shop in Philly? My daughter would love such a party!
pms515: My daughter likes shopping on Walnut Street. There aren%26#39;t a lot of funky stores but there is a great Lush store (homemade cool, funky, soap and skin products from London). She also loves Naked Chocolate, a Starbucks kind of chocolate shop that serves amazing sipping chocolate (like hot chocolate only so much better!). For more fun, funky shopping you might want to consider Manyunk or Collingswood, NJ. Better yet, what about SOHO or the Village in New York? Moms
Moms~ Viv Pickle is a great place!

Thanks so much Heather. Sounds fantastic! My daughter is now torn between a b-day party at Lucky Strike or Viv Pickle! What a great life, wouldn%26#39;t you say?! Moms
WOW Moms! Two fabulous choices! I don%26#39;t know what I would choose either.
We have been to Lucky Strike while they had a Bar Mitzvah going on. It looked like LS had their act together with hosting a private event. They had the entire second floor blocked off for it. They did a wonderful job with keeping people out - and this was a Sat night! We always have a great time there. Then again... making your own purse is something really really different : )
I hope your daughter has a wonderful time!
