Questions about having a 2 yr old stay at Eden Resort

This is going to be our first vacation away from home with our little boy , hes 2 yrs old. My parents are treating us to a getaway - two nights in mid Sept at the best western eden resort - we have a 2 bdrm king and I just realized I think theres no bathtub!!! Which might be an issue since my little guy takes a bath every night.

Anyway, Im looking for info from other moms who took their toddlers away on vaca and sleeping arrangements - for the Eden specifically what were the cribs like they gave? Did you bring your own stuff for your toddler to sleep on ? We are going to bring the pack and play but I cant picture him sleeping in there since he hasnt been in it since he was about 6 months old.

I guess im just really worried.

Hi,

I cant answer the bathtub problem but as far as the pack n play, I have brought mine with us on many vacations and it has worked out just fine. My daugther is 3 and will still sleep in it. Make it more comfortable with plenty of blankets on top. I just felt more comfortable bringing my own thing for my daughter to sleep in.

As far as I know I think it%26#39;s pretty unusual for a room not to have a bathtub unless you request it. You may be worrying about that for nothing. You should give the hotel a call and let them know your concerned and see if they could possibly change your room to one with a bathtub. As for sleeping arrangements i%26#39;m a mother of four boys 11, 9, 7, %26amp; 1. We%26#39;re also about to take another vacation. I highly recommend taking your own pack %26amp; play with all of your sons usual bedtime blankets etc. I%26#39;m sure he will do just great however this is new to him to. Try to stick to the same routine as you would at home and if necessary if he doesn%26#39;t sleep you can always ';take him on the car ride'; to help him fall asleep. As for the hotel cribs I heard there are many that no longer meet safety requirements. I%26#39;m not positive but I%26#39;m not willing to take that chance. Remember to keep your pack %26amp; play or crib which ever you choose away from any blinds or curtains they may have in the room. Hope this info helps %26amp; enjoy yourself he%26#39;ll do just fine. You%26#39;ll be planing another trip in no time.
